We have been learning how to cross the road safely.
We know we should STOP, LOOK, LISTEN and THINK.
We should hold our adults hand and use a pedestrian crossing when there is one.
We must always walk when crossing the road and never run.
Take a look at Hardiya’s poster to help you learn these facts. She has been very creative!

Today in computing we were exploring Google Earth to find the areas we live in and where our families come from.

This week we have been learning to name 3D shapes. We used a poem and a song to help us.
The poem is:
3D shapes are fat, not flat.
A cone is like a party hat.
A sphere is like a bouncy ball.
A pyramid is like a building tall.
A cylinder is like a can of pop.
A cube is like the dice you drop.
3D shapes are here and there.
3D shapes are everywhere!
listen to the song below:
We had great fun using the balance bikes with Andy!

In Geography this week we have been looking at maps of the local area. We learnt how to read a street map.

In PE this week we have been balancing using different parts of our bodies. It was very tricky but we did a great job!

Another fantastic PE lesson Achievers.

Working as a team we took turns throwing the tennis ball through the hula hoop to a partner that was ready to catch the ball.
How many times did you manage to throw and catch the ball in your teams?
Please remember to wear your PE kits to school on Monday and Wednesday.
You Can Do It Achievers!
Have a great week. Stay safe and have fun.
Mr. Riley
Well done to Hadiya and Haseeb for achieving Gold Awards this week! Hadiya works really hard in class and always follows the rules and Haseeb has done some fantastic writing! We are very proud of them both!

In English we are learning all about Instructions. Miss Swales followed the instructions we read to make porridge. Then we enjoyed tasting it. It was yummy!
